It's been way too long since I've updated. And because of that, I'm not sure where to begin. Our lives have been like a whirlwind lately...
Little Man (who, by the way, still does not have a name)--
About two weeks ago, I began having 4-6 REAL contractions every hour. After much persuading, Aus convinced me to go to the doctor. They did a test that came back positive, meaning there were chances that I could go into labor within the next 14 days. Of course, this scared us. Because our little one only weighed about 3 pounds. At that visit, the doctor gave me medicine to stop the contractions, told me to stay in the bed, and not pick up on Hallie. Telling a stay-at-home mom of a 10 month old to stay in bed and not to hold her child.... well, it went in one ear and out.... NOT POSSIBLE. But, I did take it easy. Less than a week later, the contractions hadn't stopped and if anything, worsened. We went back to the doctor, and he admitted me to the hospital. They monitored my contractions and gave me fluids. I was discharged that night-- thanks to a WONDERFUL nurse who convinced my doctor that I'd feel much better if I were home with my daughter. And I did feel 100% better when I left the hospital. I was dehydrated which caused me to start having contractions again. After being pumped with bag after bag of fluids, I felt much better. Praying to make it several more weeks...
