So, it's one of my favorite things about this holiday season... cards! And I've learned that in order to receive, you must give! Is that wrong?? I'm not sure whether it's receiving mail in the box with my name on it (that's in a non-bill-like envelope), the decor of cards on my mantle, or just knowing that someone thought of me. Regardless, it makes me happy! And it's the only time of the year that I open a card without the expectation of seeing green inside. Any other time of the year, it'd be a disappointment. In my opinion, cards are meant to have something inside. Words should be sent by text, email, or a phone call. I guess it's the society that i've been raised in-- Back to my reason for this post... our family Christmas card. This year, I waited until the VERY last minute. And with it being our first Christmas with a new addition, I felt it was a MUST to send them. So, one of our friends (who is a photographer) took our pictures in front of our very own Christmas tree.

And the next day, I took a few of Hallie in her Santa outfit.
I chose a few of my favorites and created a card at CVS. The next day, they were in the mail and on their way...
