Dedication 11/28/10

We FINALLY dedicated Hallie! We didn't intend to wait until she was almost 7 months old, but time really did slip away. This was such a special day that will always be remembered. Hallie was absolutely beautiful and such a sweetheart all day. As you look at the pictures below, listen to this song. It is the prayer of a mother for her child.

"May you grow up to serve Him
all of your days
May He lead you and guide you
in all of your ways.
May His Hand bless your future with
friendships that last.
May you cherish your youth
and not grow up too fast."
Rachel Aldous

When Pastor called for Hallie to be dedicated, she was asleep in my arms. This is when she woke up, trying to figure out what's going on.

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Mark 10:14

Loving on Pastor.

"I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the LORD. For his whole life he will be given over to the LORD.” I Samuel 1:27-28

Praying over her life.

Here are some pictures that were taken after church of Hallie and our family. Meme and Papa (Hallie's great grandparents) came to her dedication too. They left before we could get a picture!

My parents and two brothers.

What a sweet picture!

Look at Hallie's face! Trying to pull John's hair.

Hallie Elizabeth Tanner, you are God's child. We are honored that He entrusted us to care, love, and protect you on this earthly journey. We pray His blessings and His will over your precious life. "May the Lord bless you and keep you; May the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; May the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26

  1. The picture of y'all praying for her makes me cry. Praying that she "may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God." Eph 3:17-18
