We're having a little...

At 18 weeks, we had an ultrasound to find out the sex of baby Tanner #2. As the tech prepared for the ultrasound, I mentioned how LONG it took to find out if Hallie was a boy or girl. She was so modest and shy. The tech put the probe on my stomach and IMMEDIATELY (within seconds) said, "Well, that's the difference between a little girl and boy because HE's not shy!" IT'S A BOY!! One of each! How exciting. We looked at each other and smiled. We were right- a little boy. And with that being confirmation, I'd like to make a BOLD statement and say, "WE'RE DONE!" Unless, of course, God decides otherwise.
I'm sure you're wondering his name... that will be AWHILE. Boys are HARD to name. Girls, easy peasy. In fact, there are SEVERAL girl names that we agree on. Boys-zero. We've given the "name game" a break for a little while. It causes INTENSE discussions. :) Until then, he will be referred to as Rutgers. I'm sure you're thinking, "WHAT!??" R-U-T-G-E-R-S. Like the University. OKAY, if you must know, here's the story:
Mom bought Hallie a hat and gloves for winter. One set was blue.
While texting, I asked if they were for her brother.
Then said, they could go for either (boy or girl).
My phone automatically corrected 'either' and changed it to 'Rutgers.'
So, she read 'They could go for Rutgers.'
She replied, who?
And that's where it began.
Austin decided to convince her that was the baby's name.
A passed down family name, that we loved and thought was unique and different. :)
After she told my brother and grandmother, we decided to confess!
Since then, it's become a family joke.
Here are some pictures of our little man! :)

Profile.

Perfect little foot with five little toes.

two feet!

Hand over his face! Simply adorable. I love him.

A BOY! I am very, very excited and blessed to be able to experience the joys of loving and raising both a son and daughter. Maybe this one will be mommy's baby!
